Why is this important?

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine concerned with the health of infants, children and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends one should be under pediatric care up until the age of 21. Therefore, pediatric services for those under the age of 21 are very important. Infants, children and adolescents require regular checkups and medical attention for illness and injury in order to stay healthy.
