Why is this important?

Cooking meals at home is correlated with better diet quality. The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health found that people who frequently eat meals at home consume less calories and eat healthier than those who cook less. 
 
Not only is frequently eating out less healthy, it is also generally more expensive and associated with higher away-from-home expenditures.
